Unreal is the perfect name for this candy! It's just as good as the brand name counterpart! Myself and my nine year old son really enjoyed this BzzCampaign! Due to the popularity of the candy we were only able to find the Unreal candy coated choc and the peanut candy coated choc, all the others were gone! With the permission of their parents we also let my son's friends taste the candy and they agreed that they taste just as good as the original!
This candy has NO artificials, hydrogenates, corn syrup, preservatives or GMOs. I also like that each bag is only one serving so no tricky math involved when figuring out how much of each thing per container! the flavoring and coloring is done by way of veggies! beetroot juice, purple cabbage, and Turmeric root extract! While it doesn't contain lots of junk that other candy does, it does contain sugar, sodium, and higher level calories. For example the Unreal 41 (plain M&M counterpart) contains 190 calories, 35mg sodium, 19g sugar, and 10g fat. It has a little bit of nutritional value in the 3g fiber and 4g protein. Another thing that bothered me was while looking at the ingredients I noticed that they put bee's wax in it. I'm sure we ingest some anyway via other candy and chap stick, but I just wish there was a way to make it without it.
